Best Brewery and Brewery Terraces in Vancouver
Vancouver might as well be called the brewery city, as far as we’re concerned.
With dozens of breweries and brewpubs right here in the city, and more opening all the time, it really is a good time to be alive for the beer drinker.
There’s nothing quite like having a cold beer with friends and soaking up the sun during terrace season.
From small side patios to sprawling situations, these brewery patios are the best in Vancouver.
Parallel mixing 49
Parallel 49 has killer hops and an even better patio to enjoy them. Plus, the brewery just reopened its massive 100-seat beer garden for the summer – even more of an incentive to visit the brewery and soak up the rays.

This “open-source, green-focused, friendly and inclusive craft brewery” in East Van has a secretly awesome little patio tucked away off the side, only open on a seasonal basis. Pouring some really solid beers as well as local kombucha from Oddity Kombucha (which is brewed in the same space), Faculty is a go-to spot for a drink on the terrace.

Steam
This iconic Vancouver brewery has its first brewery in Gastown and its bar in Burnaby, but this summer Mount Pleasant will also host a brand new Steamworks site. The place looks huge with an even bigger patio to rival the one in Gastown, but both places are great choices for a beer on the patio.

Strathcona Beer
Serving pizza and beer, Strathcona Beer is a go-to spot for a reason. The brewery also frequently collaborates with other local businesses, such as its Dank Mart Blue Candy Ale from earlier this year. The place also has a large patio, of course.
