Piaggio has updated its Indonesian product portfolio with the launch of the Vespa 75th Anniversary Edition scooters. The 75th Anniversary Edition range includes two models: Vespa Primavera 150 and Vespa GTS. The Vespa Primavera 150 75th Anniversary Edition has been sold for Rp 64 million (Rs 3.27 lakh) while the Vespa GTS 75th Anniversary Edition is available at Rp 175 million (Rs 8.95 lakh).
Both scooters receive special paint and graphics. The vehicles feature a special yellow metallic bodywork while the side panels and fender bear the number “75†to commemorate the 75th anniversary. Another style clue on these special edition models is a large, circular, tail-mounted leather bag. The metallic yellow paint is complemented by gray wheels with a diamond finish. In addition, the seat cover receives a leather treatment while the mirrors, instrument cluster, luggage rack and exhaust feature a chrome finish.
Buyers of these special edition scooters would receive a welcome kit including an Italian silk scarf, vintage steel Vespa plaque, personalized booklet and eight collectible postcards depicting eight decades of Vespa history. Both scooters would be available in 2021.
